Welcome to my blog! It’s nice to see you here :)
I highly value kindness, intelligence and bravery. I live a Sansa Stark and Tyrion Lannister appreciation life. 99% of the time I post and reblog A Song of Ice and Fire related things.
I like discussions and I am interested in other people’s thoughts. I’ll always treat your opinion with respect, even if I disagree. But if you’re being mean and offensive I’d rather ignore you. If you hate Sansa or Tyrion and you don't accept arguments in their defense, this blog is not your place.

Sansa/Tyrion is my otp and I’ll go down with this ship. If they are not the endgame I’ll die :D

You can always ask me anything. Sometimes I answer really slow, so I'm really sorry in advance. If I don't answer for more than a week though, you should absolutely write me again. Thank you for the understanding!

Women in our position must make the best of their circumstances.

I think she’s basically explaining tumblr to Sansa.

Hey there! :)
Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

I don’t know if I’ve talked about it before… But this chapter is my most favorite chapter. Ever.  Not because it is a happy or positive one, but because it’s completely honest and devastating and it’s full of really strong emotions and my heart just breaks every time… Maybe I too have a soft spot for cripples and bastards and broken things…

So… Right after I finished the chapter I cried like a baby. It was in that very moment when I started shipping them. GRRM was just too evil. He created something that should have not been created at all. He wrote those two characters – essentially they both were good characters, none of them was portrayed like a villain, they were both like tragic heroes. So GRRM created them and then he married them against their will. And during the ceremony each of them was trying to be nice to the other one - Tyrion was trying to be nice and gentle and spare Sana from pain and humiliation, so he forbid the wedding ceremony. Sansa knelt for him – she didn’t want to kneel for any Lannister, it was her single possible act of rebellion against them, but she actively choose to kneel for him, because she saw he wasn’t the enemy, he wasn’t the one who put her in that position and she felt sorry when all the people in the room were laughing at him. So they were both good people and each of them tried to make the other one happy. But they failed miserably. He couldn’t possibly bring her any happiness, no matter what he did, even though he tried. She couldn’t bring him any happniest either, even though she was always polite and kind and gentle. And that is the hardest thing I have ever had to read. Two good people, trying to help each other and being unable to succeed.

And there came the final line in the chapter. After he promised her that he would not touch her until she wants him to, she asked what would happen if she never wants him to. So he replied “that is why the gods made whores for imps like me.” Which is one of the most horrible lines in all the books. There isn’t any hope, any kind of light, he doesn’t say something like “I will wait and hope for a better future”, he completely accepts that he’ll always be undesirable in her eyes, like he’s undesirable in the eyes of everyone else. The only people who would ever give him any kind of love are the people he could pay. He is fast to accept he’ll never be loved, he’s used to that thought, everything is the same as usual. As someone who has often felt so ugly and so undesirable, I find it easy to relate to that quote.

So my heart breaks for the ugly man, married to a sweet pretty girl, who looks at him with disgust. My heart breaks for this innocent girl, used as a pawn in the game of thrones, who dreamed of being a happy and loving bride and instead got married to a monster by force. My heart breaks, because NONE OF THEM EVER BLAMED THE OTHER ONE, because they tried, they really, really tried…..

These were my thought right after I finished the chapter. And this is why I ship them and I will always ship them. I believe that if two good people really try to bring happiness to each other, sooner or later they will succeed. It take time, much more time than Sansa and Tyrion ever had, but it is possible. They could make it work. Tyrion refused to say a bad word about her during his trail, even though it could have really helped him and it couldn’t have hurt her, since she was nowhere to be found. Sansa refused to say a bad word about him to Lysa, even though it would have made her relationship with her aunt easier. They could have had it all, if they had more time.

As for the age difference – it doesn’t really bother me that much. Tyrion is 12 years older than Sansa, which is not that big of a difference for medieval standards. During the wedding he is 24 or 25. At the time of the wedding Sansa was really young, she was 13, which is a year younger than Danny was when she married Drogo. So I’d prefer it if Sansa was at least two or three years older. But it’s okay for me, because during their wedding I don’t ship them in a sexual way, just an emotional one. And I don’t think they’ll meet soon. So by the time they see each other again – if they ever see each other again – her age would be like 15 or 16 and he’ll be 27 or 28 and it’s not really a problem for me.

Favourite ship names

sansaswift:

  1. LoVe - Logan/Veronica. Love. Seriously. Winner of most adorable.
  2. Wolfstar - Remus/Sirius. Defs the most creative ship name I have ever come across. Four for you, shippers.
  3. Tie for Doccubus and Valkubus - Lauren/Bo and Tamsin/Bo. Mixture of Doctor or Valkyrie and Succubus aka second most creative ship names.
  4. Sansa x Tyrion. Because the following is so small it literally doesn’t have a name. Just Sansa x Tyrion. That’s the tag. Sometimes you have to laugh or you cry.

that”s so sweet it hurts :)

ssansastark:

this is a completely illogical and irrational thing to make me mad but i hate that sansa doesn’t get to wear dresses emblazoned with a direwolf. i get that in king’s landing they believe the starks are traitors but it’s not fair she should get dresses with stark pride

don’t mind me i’m just bitter and grumbling

Don’t worry. Sansa is the blood of Winterfell not matter what she wears.

As they say in latin - Vulpem pilum mutare, non mores. The wolf changes the skin not its habits.

There’s also something to be said about a wolf in a sheep’s clothing… Or, to be more precise - Pelle sub agnina latitat mens saepe lupina. Beneath the lamb’s skin often lurks a wolf’s mind.

Sansa is a direwolf hearted girl. And really, it doesn’t hurt that many people consider her a sheep. She’s just hiding in plain sight.

I’ve always loved how both Sansa and Arya are parts of Sandor’s narrative. I wish there were more graphics and discussions about that.
Like… he is this lost man, who had good intentions once, but it all got messed up because of the world he was forced to live in. And then comes Sansa. And her presence in his life starts a transformation. But, sadly, she alone is not enough to finish that transformation. So after that Arya comes and the times Sandor spends with her finishes what has already been started. He really changed while he was looking after both of the Stark girls. They were both parts of this puzzle, just like they are both parts of each puzzle.
Like I love to say - it’s not Sansa or Arya, it has always been Sansa and Arya. And their presence in Sandor’s life is another perfect example of that.

As I dream up little quips of Tyrion x Sansa moments in fan fiction, I like to think of them as husband and wife, with their kids playing nearby while momma and papa read their books, but Tyrion can't focus on his reading because of the way his wife's auburn tresses gleam crimson in the sunlight from the window and he he feigns a heart attack, using it as an excuse to collapse to his sweet Sansa's bosom, and feel her hair brush his cheeks, sighing whistfully.

Now that’s sweet :)
You should absolutely write all those moments in a long fic :)))
